Revised Hours & Services

Internet access available*

The Rosenberg Library is now open to the public on  a limited basis.  Books may be reserved online and picked up at the east entrance (23rd Street) in our "Books to Go" program.  Patrons may also browse a selection of books and DVDs in the entry area of the Library. 

Hours of operation are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.  The Library is closed Sundays and Mondays. 

A children's area (9:00 am to 6:00 pm) and a *limited 5-station internet access area (9:00 am to 5:45 pm) are available. 

For items checked out on or after December 9, fines for overdue material will resume at the rate of ten cents per day; twenty-five cents per day for new books. To learn more about Extension Services click here.

"Memories of Ike"

The Rosenberg Library is seeking personal accounts of Galveston residents who stayed through Hurricane Ike, as well as those who evacuated.  The Library wishes to collect and preserve written accounts from both groups with an eye toward their eventual use by researchers and authors.

This small display is located at the East Entrance on the second floor of the Rosenberg Library at 2310 Sealy Avenue and can be viewed Tuesday through Saturday during library hours, 9:00am - 6:00pm.   Click here for more information.
